Hi I’m Alice, I started the studio at my kitchen table during maternity leave, painting homes and personalised children's artwork for friends and family. What began as a passionate dream has evolved into a creative business, and today I am proudly building its future. I studied an art foundation at Leeds Arts University, followed by a degree in Interior Architecture at Nottingham Trent, before spending years working in retail across visual merchandising, store design and residential interiors. My background has helped shape my understanding of space, structure, and colour, which I bring to every piece.

 

At AMJ, I specialise in architectural hand-painted illustrations, vibrant botanicals, and fine art commissions, both small and large scale, for private and commercial clients. While I love working locally, my artwork has also connected with clients across the globe, from LA villas near Topanga State Park, historical Brownstones in Brooklyn, to Grade II listed villas in Regents Park. Even as far reaching as Jacobsbaai on the South African coast, and many more beautiful homes, venues (and pubs) across the UK.
